Currently, document matching for templates only evaluates the first document. While this is a strong foundation, it can be expanded to better support multi‑page templates. Since templates can contain multiple pages, matching should evaluate the template as a complete unit rather than a single page.

A more efficient approach would be to first match the template’s initial (or anchor) page against the loaded documents to identify likely candidates. From there, the user could order the matched pages into the intended write sequence, significantly narrowing the search space and reducing overall processing cost.

Once the pages are ordered, a lighter, continuous validation pass can confirm that each page aligns with the corresponding template page. This layered approach balances accuracy, performance, and user control while enabling full multi‑page template matching.
