Dear DocuSign Team,
I am writing to propose an improvement to the functionality of dropdown menu fields within templates. Currently, the extension size of these fields appears to have a limitation that sometimes causes the text of longer options to be cut off when printing or viewing the final document.
This limitation can lead to legibility and professionalism issues in signed documents, especially when the dropdown menu options contain lengthy phrases or words.
To address this issue, we suggest implementing one of the following options:
-
Parameterization of the field size: Allow users to manually define the width of the dropdown menu field when creating or editing a template. This would give them the flexibility to adjust it according to the specific needs of each field.
-
Automatic adjustment of the field size: Implement a feature that automatically adjusts the width of the dropdown menu field based on the length of the longest option within that field. This would ensure that all text is visible without manual intervention.
Implementing either of these solutions would significantly improve the user experience and the quality of documents generated with DocuSign, preventing the frustration of having cut-off text in dropdown menu fields.
Thank you for your attention to this suggestion, and I hope you will consider it for future updates to the platform.
