Receiving the final signed document by email as a single file

Hi,

We have recently changed e-signature provider our company. At first it looked great, however, in practice we have encountered one major issue — receiving the final signed document by email as a single file.

Currently, the completion email contains two separate documents. This is problematic because the certificate is an integral part of the signature and therefore part of the document itself. Ideally, everything should be included in one file, or at least there should be an option to receive it as a single combined document. I am aware that the final document can be downloaded from my user profile, but I would like to receive directly via email as one single file.

This may seem like a small detail, but given the way I work and the fact that I often send out 50, 100, or even 150 signature requests at once, clicking, downloading, and manually managing the documents is very time-consuming.

It has also turned out that many of my signers do not use Docusign and do not have tools to merge documents, so they end up taking screenshots just to obtain a single document that is considered valid (the legal effect is actually the opposite). They do this because working with public authorities, we are often allowed to attach only one file, which brings us back to the same issue.

All of the above would all be resolved if we could receive one single document by email from the start, containing both the signed document and the certificate. This one combine document applies to both parties, recipient and signer of the document.

Thank you very much, and kind regards,

Zeljka
