Reactivation Date - CRITICAL Data Needed to better manage Users of a Large Company (4k+ Users)

As we monitor DocuSign users and close accounts that are idle and not being used, we often find those users requesting access to be reestablished.  In order to clearly see that this user is a ‘new’ user and should be allowed 90 days to have some activity, it is important to see the reactivation date.  Since DocuSign does not have that critical piece of data, we choose to not reactive account, but rather ‘setup as new’.  This shows us the new setup date and allows us to manage the account and ensure within 90 days of that day the user has some activity (if not we close the account AGAIN).  By having a reactivate date we could avoid multiple accounts for each user and instead reactivate accounts.

The workaround of setting up new accounts causes a reporting concern:  when you run an envelope report for the user, you have to look closely and select each of the boxes for the user (sometimes 2 or 3)  or you will have incomplete/inaccurate data.  Not ideal!

Thanks for sharing this idea with us, @slhakes . We’ve reviewed it and appreciate the thought behind it.

At this time, we’re not planning to pursue this request, so we’ve marked it as parked.

While it’s not on our current roadmap, ideas like yours help inform future direction if priorities change.

Thanks again for contributing your input.
