Masking first 5 digits of SSN

Currently use DocuSign App Launcher in Salesforce. Would be nice to be able to select the # of characters to be masked in a field. For example I’d like to mask just the first 5 digits of an SSN field, but DocuSign only allows masking of the entire field w/the ability to download form data. Being able to decide how many characters to mask would be ideal.
