There isn’t currently a way to have initiator of a public web form receive decline notifications. The notification will always go to the sender (the account holder who authorized the web form). This is a current limitation of public web forms. Our only workaround is for the template creator to have to forward all declination emails to the sender which defeats the purpose of automation for this.
The only alternative we were advised is to change to use as a sender-initiated webform. which would require us to email the form directly to the recipient’s email, and they will receive all relevant notifications.
Currently, our organization is processing dozens of forms via this Webform link and it’s not possible to send the form to each person to complete.
This is a major limitation of the public webform.
