Enhance the current DocuSign authentication SMS message by including the code expiry duration. This improvement will provide users with clear information about how long their authentication code remains valid, improving both user experience and security.
Currently, users receive an SMS message in the following format:
Your DocuSign Authentication code is: XXXXXX
The message does not indicate when the code will expire, which can lead to confusion if users attempt to use an expired code.
Proposed Enhancement:
Modify the SMS message template to include timeout details.
Example of enhanced message:
Your DocuSign Authentication code is: XXXXXX. This code will expire in 10 minutes.
Alternative format (with timestamp):
Your DocuSign Authentication code is: XXXXXX. This code will expire at 3:15 PM SGT.
