Form fields linked to the form instead of approver

In discussion with John Lorrenz in Customer Support, we identified that form fields can be accidentally deleted from a template when there are multiple approvers and no indication on which approver the form fields are linked. I have many form fields that are uneditable to the approver, so it was not intuitive to me that these would be linked to an approver. I would like to propose that form fields can be linked to the form itself instead of linked to the approvers.
