External recipients ability yo download documents before the envelope has completed

Dear DocuSign Support Team,

I am the administrator of our DocuSign Business Pro account and I need help with a security setting.

I would like to ensure that recipients cannot download a document before they have signed it. Unfortunately, I could not find this setting or enable it in my current configuration.

Please enable the feature for my account that prevents recipients from downloading documents before signing them.

At this time, we won’t be moving forward with this request, so we’ve marked it as “parked.” While it’s not currently on our roadmap, ideas like yours help guide future priorities if things change.

As an alternative, you might consider

• Embedded signing
• Remove the “Download” buttons from the signing UI through Resource File Branding. However, if the recipient has a DocuSign account and the document was sent there, they’ll still be able to log in and download the document.
