Within the same envelope, we have some documents requiring date signed only and others that require date/time signed. I note this can only be changed in the signing settings and can only be one or the other. Could we please have the ability to add either/or within the one envelope.

Thank you for sharing your idea with us, @CKSS After reviewing your request, we found that this can be accomplished using existing features within DocuSign.

At the account level, Admins can select the Date and Time option under Document Formatting, which can be used for documents that require both date and time to be captured in the Date Signed field. If only the date is needed, senders can use a standard Text field and set the validation type to Date 👉 Apply Data Validation to a Text Field

For added convenience, you may also save this as a custom field, for example, name it as “Date Signed” so you or other senders can easily drag and drop it onto the envelopes whenever needed.
