Allow selection of the particular seat you would like to cancel

Thanks so much for your idea, ​@mollyWP. To clarify, the Administrator can reduce the number of seats, but there is no “Empty Seat with no envelopes” concept in Docusign because envelope allowance applies at the account level.

Every subscription seat you buy adds envelopes to your account total: 100 extra envelopes for annual billing or 10 for monthly. An account admin can assign or unassign seats to users and set permissions. Each user needs their own seat, but seats can be unassigned or unused without affecting your envelope count.

When you purchase extra seats or envelopes, you can immediately go to Plan & Billing to reduce seats if needed. Rest assured, these changes will take effect at your next renewal and won't have any impact on the newly purchased envelopes.
