Hello @GdeG

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! I completely understand how frustrating it is to go through all the correct steps and still not see any progress. You’ve clearly put in a lot of effort checking the settings, restarting your computer, and confirming the Google Workspace configuration, so it’s understandably discouraging when the Google Drive option still doesn’t respond. I’m here to help you get this resolved.
There are several common reasons why you may be unable to upload a document from Google Drive to DocuSign. Here are the most likely issues and how to fix them:

1. Not signed in to Google Drive inside Docusign. Docusign requires you to connect your Google Drive account the first time
.Fix:

  • 1. Click Start > Upload.
  • 2. Choose Google Drive.
  • 3. Sign in to your Google account when prompted.
  • 4. Allow permissions.

2. Google Drive app connection needs to be reauthorized. Sometimes the integration expires or disconnects.
Fix:

  • Go to Preferences in DocuSign
  • Under Connected Apps, remove Google Drive
  • Add it again and reauthorize

3. You’re logged into the wrong Google account. If Google Drive asks you to switch accounts, DocuSign may not detect the right one.
Fix:

  • Log out of all Google accounts
  • Log back into only the one with the file you want
  • Try uploading again

4. Document type is not supported. DocuSign only supports specific file formats. If your file is:
zip
shortcut (.gshortcut)
Google Forms/Sheets/Docs links…it won’t upload directly.
Fix:

  • Download the file from Drive as PDF or DOCX
  • Upload it manually from your computer

5. Browser pop-ups or third-party cookies are blocked. Docusign needs to open a Google authorization window. If pop-ups or cookies are blocked, the connection fails.
Fix:

  • Enable pop-ups for DocuSign
  • Allow third-party cookies
  • Try a different browser (Chrome recommended)
