The Docusign Community offers two key spaces for collaboration and learning: Help Forums and Groups. While they’re both valuable, they serve different purposes.

Here's how to decide where to spend your time:

Help Forums: Quick answers to specific questions

Best For:

  • Troubleshooting a specific issue.
  • Learning how to use a feature in Docusign.
  • Getting step-by-step guidance on solving a challenge.

Why use them:

  • Fast solutions: Ask a question and get answers from other members or experts.
  • Searchable archives: Your question might already be answered—just use the search bar.
  • Wide-ranging topics: Covers everything from technical issues to general tips about Docusign tools.

Example questions for Help Forums:

  • "How do I create a custom workflow in Docusign CLM?"
  • "How can I bulk generate documents via Salesforce for Docusign?"
  • "How can I add a signer to an envelope after it’s been sent?"

Here’s an example of a post in the Help Forums that follow these guidelines:

Groups: Deeper discussions and networking

Best for:

  • Exploring high-level strategies in agreement management.
  • Sharing industry-specific insights and experiences.
  • Networking with peers who face similar challenges.

Why use groups:

  • Industry-specific discussions and content: Access focused conversations and content relevant to your field.
  • Collaboration opportunities: Share ideas and get feedback on agreement management best practices.
  • Relationship-building: Connect with others in your field and grow your professional network.

Example discussions in Groups:

  • “What are some best practices for managing legal contracts digitally?”
  • “How is AI shaping agreement management in the financial industry?”
  • “What’s the best way to scale Docusign solutions for a global organization?”

Here’s an example of a post in the Groups that follow these guidelines:AD_4nXdUI12hX-gT36WFriinllZJocGGpJZ55GxRbn4RdYBkCKg_VQMlxP2wa5rOn4EEo8w7B-taUA8P4lWotFJSMm3jplWge5cFt5Z0txG6vUtdGJvmyzmMCAW6Bhs5IA55dpH1ORSZtw?key=7x_cNSB7_0bnraSULdYl5A6P

How to use both

Think of Help Forums as your go-to for quick, actionable solutions to specific questions. Turn to Groups when you’re ready for collaborative conversations, brainstorming, or exploring big-picture strategies.

By using both Help Forums and Groups, you’ll get the most out of the Docusign Community—whether you need an immediate answer or want to dive deeper into your industry’s unique challenges and opportunities.

What should I do If I need that only one party signs the document, docusign is asking for two parties to sign it as an agreement. I just need signatures from one party. Please help
