My integration key is currently in development and we’re getting ready to submit for review to move into production. However, we need to continue testing with they key until go live. Once the key is moved into production, will I still be able to use it in the test environment? How long does the approval generally take to promote the key to prod?

Yes, absolutely. Once your integration key is promoted to production, it doesn’t stop working in the demo (developer) environment.

It generally takes one to three business days to have a key promoted to production, so I’d recommend getting started on that sooner rather than later.

I think it’s also important to note that, when your app is promoted into the production environment, its integration key is duplicated into the production environment rather than moved. The integration key's configuration parameters such as secrets and redirect URIs are not duplicated, however. You must add them in the production environment to match the settings for your app in the developer environment to keep your app working.
