New demo account: envelopes marked “Sent,” but signing emails not received; older account works

Hello DocuSign Community,

We’re integrating Aavenir Contractflow with a newly created DocuSign developer/demo account. Authentication and envelope creation succeed, but recipients do not receive signing invitation emails.

We previously encountered the same issue and resolved it by using an older DocuSign account, approximately 2–3 years old. The same integration and sending flow worked without application code changes. This issue has now occurred again with another newly created account.

Checks completed:

  • Recipient API returns HTTP 200.
  • Recipient status is sent, not autoresponded.
  • routingOrder and currentRoutingOrder are both 1.
  • No clientUserId is present.
  • No recipient error details were returned in our diagnostic output.
  • “Suppress emails to embedded signers” has been disabled, but the issue persists.

I found this related discussion, where a DocuSign moderator explained that developer-account fraud/security checks can affect notification delivery and may require an internal adjustment.

Could someone from DocuSign help investigate whether our new account is affected by these restrictions? Are there any additional account-side checks we can perform, and how can we request an internal email-delivery review for a free developer account?

I can share the account ID, admin email, sample envelope IDs, and UTC send timestamps privately.

Thank you,
Maulik Ranadive
