I am reaching out to discuss a concern regarding witness signatures. We have encountered multiple instances where witnesses have signed documents several hours or even days after the original signer. This raises questions about whether the witness was actually present with the signer at the time of signing. I understand there are methods to record the location of the signer, but I would like to know if there is a way to ensure that witnesses can only sign the document if they are physically present with the individual. For example, could a code be scanned to verify their presence? Thank you.
