Hi @Pawan Gangwani , @Drewcifer ,

Any solution ideas guys for this?

If you're not seeing this setting in your admin panel, it’s possible that the feature is only available under specific DocuSign plans or account configurations.

I recommend reaching out to DocuSign Support directly—they’ll be able to confirm whether this feature is included in your current plan and assist with enabling it if applicable.

Thanks!

Hello @Atul.Mishra

Welcome to the DocuSign Community!

It looks like your account administrator may have enabled a setting that restricts adding documents to in-process envelopes once at least one recipient has completed their action.

From the screenshot, I can see that the first recipient is grayed out, which typically indicates that they’ve already finished signing the document. This would explain why you're unable to upload a document at this stage.

You may want to connect with your account admin to review or adjust this setting in “Sending Setting” if needed. Here is the link: Envelope Correct

Hi @Pawan Gangwani ,

Thanks for the response.

The greyed out recipient is a cc recipient. That recipient doesn’t need to sign. Also, which option in “Sending Setting”  you are exactly referring to adjust ?

Regarding the "Sending Settings" option, I was referring to the admin level setting that restricts adding documents to in-process envelopes

Hi @Pawan Gangwani ,
Please refer to the below screenshot. I don’t see the correct envelope option in sending settings.

We have all that set up correctly in my neck of the woods, but we still ran into users not being able to upload or modify envelopes this week.  I turned in a ticket about it.  DocuSign has an internal ticket regarding this bug.  The DS rep said one of the workarounds is to wait 15 minutes before trying to upload again.

My users have reported success with the 15 minute wait between upload attempts.
