Has anyone else experienced an unexpected renewal charge for their docusign accounts purchased through techsoup?

We purchased an initial 5 perpetual licenses through techsoup and had no renewal charges over the past few years as expected. Recently we added 5 more perpetual licenses, also through techsoup following the same process we had in the past with no issue. At our renewal date only a couple months later, we were surprised to be charged full renewal rate $1500 for the 5 perpetual licenses we just added!

We currently have a ticket open with docusign support but there has been no progress, aside from this being explained as a possible engineering issue(?).  Anyone else experiencing issues with their techsoup renewal?

This is the first time I've heard that there is a perpetual license for DocuSign. But I find a document about it for your reference:

We want to make sure you don’t miss an important update. On May 9, 2025, the current donated and discounted Docusign offers available through TechSoup will be retired.

After this date, Docusign will shift to a new model offering a discount directly through their website for eligible nonprofits on Docusign subscription plans. This means the perpetual donation and discounted subscriptions currently available through TechSoup will no longer be available.
