Splitting Web Form Field Input into Multiple PDF Fields in DocuSign

Hi there,

I’m currently testing out DocuSign to help a client convert complex financial PDFs into digital forms. While exploring the Web Forms feature, I’ve encountered several limitations—but I’ll focus on just one question for now:

Is there a way to split the value of a single Web Form field into multiple fields in the PDF?
For example, if a user enters a date in the format dd/mm/yyyy in the Web Form, I want that input to automatically populate three separate fields in the PDF for the day, month, and year.

Is there a conventional way of achieving something like this?

Unfortunately, there is no way to split a date field into three different fields in Docusign eSignature using Web Forms. If you want to have three separate field you need to add them to the Web Form as separate fields.

Docusign eSignature offers formulas fields, but they don’t support functions like day(), month() or year().
