Hello everybody,

We ‘re dealing with an issue when sending an envelope with Soecify Recipients.

Here is the scenario:

  • A recipient (assigned by the Specifier) is trying to access a signing link.
  • The original link expired.
  • The new link is being sent to the Specifier instead of the intended recipient

Is this a formal behavior?

Welcome to the Docusign Community—great to have you here! Thanks for reaching out regarding the issue with sending envelopes using the Specify Recipients feature.

The behavior where a new signing link is sent to the Specifier instead of the intended recipient after the original link expires is not expected or normal. Typically, the new signing link should be sent directly to the recipient who was specified to sign the document.

To assist you further and investigate the issue more thoroughly, could you please provide the Envelope ID of the affected envelope so we can check it further?
