I understand that you are trying to sign a document with QES. We apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you.

To verify, are you referring to the Qualified Electronic Signature (QES)? If yes, and your account includes the QES, there isn’t a setting for the signer to manually switch to QES while signing. The signature type is selected by the sender when they prepare the envelope. If the QES is configured for your account, the sender needs to enable the appropriate signature option before sending the document.

If you expected to sign using QES but do not have the option during the signing process, please reach out to the sender and advise them to set the envelope to QES. Also, let us know whether you’re the sender or the signer and which Qualified Signature provider you’re using. I’ll be happy to help further.
