I have a Document which has been signed by the CEO using a POA clause. The signatures looked misaligned and formatted wrong. Everyone of their Docusign signatures has exactly the same ID number. Is that possible, it’s around 50 signatures

 

This has made me look at other documents they have sent, those docs have people with the same Surname signing separately having the same Signature ID too.

 

I suspect they have copied an old Docusign Signature and pasted it in multiple times! i have even seen the same signature ID appear on a document filed with companies house, which again makes me think its a copy and paste job.

 

i thought i new ID was generated for every signature made, regardless if its the same person signing

To confirm, are you referring to the Docusign signature frame?

With the DocuSign frame, extra information is placed around the signer’s signatures and initials to make it easy to recognize that the signature was created by Docusign.

The combination of numbers and letters in the frame is a unique DocuSign User ID, which will stay the same for all signatures from the same recipient. You may check this article for additional details: Signature Adoption and Format
