Hi! I am submitting a signed document but the company will not accept the document because the top of the signature says “signed by” instead of “docusigned by”. Does anyone know how to display this? When I go to my profile to update my signature, this is not an option - it just has ‘signed by’.

Hello @KHoffer,

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! Happy to have you here and want you to know that we're all about sharing knowledge and supporting each other.

We're sorry to hear about the challenges you experienced, and we recognize the importance of correctly updating your signature.

There was a change to the signature and initials chrome as part of our June 2024 Docusign Core Prod Release Notes

  • Before this update, signature chrome used the language "DocuSigned by".

  • As part of the June 2024 update, the signature chrome changed to "Signed by" for all newly adopted signatures.

We did not change any pre-existing adopted signatures when we updated the signature formatting. However, when a user adopts a new signature, the signature chrome will display as "Signed by". If your signature was adopted after the update, this explains why it shows "Signed by". Unfortunately, we do not have the option to revert to the older "Docusigned by" format.
