When creating templates having the ability to “Ctl S” to save as you are going along creating instead of having to exit the template will save a enormous amount of time and frustration to your clients. I thought the “Ctl S” worked when I was creating a multipage template to come to find out that I lost most of the work - my bad.
I thought DocuSign was developed to work with that standard of saving documents like every other program I’ve worked with.

I tried using a Classic Editor and Agreement Template Builder, and I pressed Ctrl+S (while on the tagger page), and I got a quick "Saving" message in the upper right (next to the PREVIEW button). Are you able to try it again and use different browsers? Do you have screenshots of the issue that you could provide (without any Personally Identifiable Information )?

+1I’m pretty sure Ctrl+S works in the classic editor, I’ve used the function today. Not sure about the new editor though.

If you’re still monitoring this: I just spent quite awhile editing a template, using ctrl+s periodically & receiving the “saving” message each time. I stepped away from my desk, and when I returned I’d been logged out. When I logged back in, all my work was gone -- nothing had saved, in fact.

It could be related to the Web App Session Timeout settings. Please adjust the settings from Admin > Security Settings > set it to the maximum 120 minutes. 👉 Account Security
The next time you create or edit a Template, please observe if the issue persists. If yes, please open a support case so we can investigate it further. 👉 Open a case in the Docusign Support Center
