Does anyone know if you can set up s signatures in docusign for US patent office documents?

Hello @jilleuhl,

Thank you for reaching out, and a warm welcome to the Docusign Community! We are absolutely delighted to have you here and can't wait to share our knowledge with you.

I understand you would like some guidance on setting up S signatures in DocuSign for US patent office documents. Rest assured that I will make my best effort to help you.

Currently, we do not have S signatures for US patent office documents. We have regular signatures, stamps, eSeals, and different Pens, but no S signatures, I apologize. If you want the signature between / /, the sender can have a document with '/'//' and a signature tag in between. Here's an example of what I found online:

What little I can find online suggests this may not require an electronic signature. It can be purely text, so long as it is between the two slashes.

However, I also found this external article that appears to be talking about a recent revision that allows for electronic signatures via platforms like Docusign: Ice Miller LLP
