I’m building a template with collaborative fields assigned to Party A but I want Party B to also be guided to these fields regardless of if Party A has already input an entry.

Previously DocuSign allowed me to assign a field to 2 parties though this feature seems to no longer be available. If I could assign the fields to both parties that would probably be ideal, but the core issue is I want each party to be forced to go through these fields and not just skip to fields that are assigned directly to them.

Any suggestions?

Why not drag an Initials block for Party B to each instance you need them to see?

I like the signature block idea, maybe use a Note and an initials field, indicating they’ve reviewed the changes.

One thing that makes it kind of clunky is If Party A made no changes then party B has the signature block prompt to initial but there’s nothing to approve, and DocuSign doesn’t allow me to make conditional fields like a note appear to party B based on a text field assigned to party A.

It feels like I’m over thinking it and it shouldn’t be this hard to direct 2 people to the same fields, having them be optional for A and required for B.

Hello @Office_Tech732,

I hope you’re doing well.

To confirm, when you apply a field, the “Collaboration” is not showing on the left panel?

If you were able to use it before and did not make any changes to your account plan, I would recommend that you open a support case to confirm if the feature is disabled and if they can enable it for you. Open a case in the Docusign Support Center

Should you require any additional assistance, feel free to reach out. Thank you!
