I’m trying to create a new Power Form and and get this message: “Cannot create a PowerForm from the selected template. Direct signing mode is not enabled for PowerForms.”  I can’t find any answers or workarounds for this message.  Please help.

 

@Manderson307 This is an error I have not seen before with Powerforms. Have you been able to create a Powerform previously without error or is this your first attempt?

On the Template that is being used for this Powerform, please make sure the first Recipient has a Role but the Name and Email address should always be blank.   

Any additional unique items on the Template? Fields or configuration? Authentication?


This is my first attempt.  I was able to resolve the issue by selecting the Require Email Validation check box in the Advance Options Settings.

I am sorry to hear that you are unable to bypass email verification in your Powerform.

 

Based on historical cases where this error has appeared, the root cause of this behavior seems to be a missing feature in the account’s configuration.

 

Docusign support can assist in enabling the feature, if your plan includes access to Powerforms.

 

To create a new support case, please fill out the form provided below and include the error as part of the description of the issue:

If you are not able to open the case on the same page, you should scroll down to More Support Options and select "I can't reset my password or don't have an account." you will have the option of filling out the form or calling Support.
