OK, this is rather frustrating. Love the UI and usability of Docusign, seems really simple. Now, I can gurantee (im a designer) my pdf and images are all high print quality, so nout to do with poor images. The pdf is absolutely fine outside of Docusign. However, when the customer received the pdf to sign, it massively degrages the images and look awful - to the point where I couldnt use Docusign for that reason alone.

Why does it does this, anyone else experiencing this and is there anything i can do so that Docusign doesnt butcher the hours of branded material put together? It’s an 9mb document.

P.S/ Ad0be S1gn doesnt do this or degrade the pdf quality...come on Docusign. Please help.

Thanks,

David

Hello @David-nexian,

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! We appreciate your question and assure you that we are fully committed to providing you with the best service possible.
There are File Size Limitations for an Envelope. This topic provides information about file size limitations for file uploads through the Docusign web application.

Note: Developers can use different limits using the eSignature API. For information about these limits, see the topic eSignature API rules and resource limits on the Docusign Developer Center.

Along with the file format, there are file size and page count limitations for your file uploads using the Docusign web application.

MAXIMUM FILE SIZE 25 MB
RECOMMENDED FILE SIZE 5 MB
MAXIMUM # PAGES PER DOCUMENT 2,000 pages
MAXIMUM # PAGES PER ENVELOPE 5,000 pages

Docusign recommends restricting your file uploads to no more than 5 MB for best performance.

The 25-MB maximum file size limit is the maximum size of an individual file uploaded to an envelope.

For the completed PDF to be included with the completed email notification, the size cannot exceed 5 MB. If the completed documents are larger than 5 MB, the email links the documents on the Docusign system.

Please don't hesitate to let us know if you need any more help. Thank you!
