Number of pages changes when uploading word document

When I upload a TWO PAGE Word document, it changes to THREE PAGES - as if everything has stretched slightly. The last part of page two moves to page three.

If I change the document so that it only has 1.5 pages of text it can possibly fit on two docusign pages.

How do I make this stop?

I figured out what it was. One part of my word document was set to font “Arial Unicode”. That was the part that kept changing as soon as I uploaded the document.

I changed it to regular Arial and then everything was OK.

Hello, @MarieL

I tried to simulate this behavior, but I can’t reproduce it.

My suggestions to you:

Verify if the Word document has a header and footer with some text or special character inside
Use another browser cleaning up the cache
Open an incognito window then log to your account, try again to add the document
Create a new Word document from the scratch, fill up with text for one page only then try to upload it, if this one works fine so the problem is with the other document mentioned by you.
