Hello,

When using the new Document Template for creating an envelope template, it seems that the Agreement Template Builder editor will open the newly created envelope editor in the classical editor rather than the new editor, which is otherwise the standard when I edit an envelope template generated directly from a Word document. I am also unable to find an option to switch to the new editor.

Hello @Ala,

Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community -- great to have you here!

When using the Agreement Template Builder (ATB), please note that it is designed specifically for editing documents directly. If you create an envelope template by using a document template, the document content is imported from that original document template.

This means all document edits should be made at the document template level itself. Once the document is brought into the envelope template, the expectation is that you will not perform further edits to the document content within the envelope. That's why the envelope editor opens in the classic editor, and you can't switch to the new editor for editing.

I hope this helps clarify things! If you found this response helpful, feel free to give it a like or mark it as the best answer. And of course, let us know if you have any further questions
