I frequently am creating form templates that have multiple fields that are of the same width and or height, and when creating these it is very frustrating that if I ever want to make one of them, say, be a taller field while still being the same width as the others, I cannot do this in any clear way that I can find. Even more frustrating is when I have several identical fields, and then need to edit the form in order to increase the height of them, but want to preserve them having the same width as each other.
With the current field resizing tools, I can only adjust field sizing by dragging the corners, which adjusts both the height and width simultaneously - which makes it impossible to not change both at once, which makes it extremely imprecise, and effectively impossible to not at least slightly change the other dimension. There is no way to do something like hold ctrl to change this behavior, and bafflingly there is no way to adjust a field by dragging from one of the flat edges rather than the corners.
Is there some setting or menu I am missing in order to accomplish this task, or that would allow me to set a field to an exact size, thus allowing me to set all of the fields to the same width? I want my forms to look properly professional when deployed, and not have inconsistent and varied widths for fields that are directly following each other, especially when it is simply due to lacking tools.
Is there any way to resize a field while preserving one of the dimensions - or set fields to specific dimensions?

Hello
Thanks for the detailed feedback — this is a fair frustration,
Text fields can actually be resized fairly freely (drag the corner handles, plus you can adjust the font size to fit). That said, you're right that there's no way to resize along a single axis or enter an exact width/height; it's corner-dragging only, which moves both dimensions together. That makes keeping several fields at a matched width while changing their height tricky to do cleanly; The tools don't currently offer a clean way to adjust one dimension across multiple fields at once.
Since this is a specific need that others would likely benefit from too, I'd encourage you to submit it as an idea request on our Ideas page: https://community.docusign.com/ideas. This is the best way to share product suggestions and helps our product team evaluate interest for future enhancements.
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
