Is it possible to remove the 'In Progress' watermark on a completed document?

I have a user that has a completed DS document but it has ‘In Progress’ as a watermark on all pages - how can this be removed?

Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! We appreciate your question and assure you that we are here to help.

Once all recipients have signed the document, the 'In Progress' watermark is automatically removed from the printable version. If you still see the watermark, it indicates that the signing process is not yet complete.

To remove the watermark from in-process documents before completion, you can disable the watermark feature by following these steps:

  1. Go to Admin.
  2. Under Signing Settings, select Watermark Configuration.
  3. Uncheck the option for Apply watermarks to documents that are still in progress.

This will prevent the watermark from appearing on any future in-process documents.

Many thanks - I went deskside with the user and she was opening the envelope before all signers had completed their bits...
