I’m looking to create a dynamic template in DocuSign where the user needs to initial the bottom of every page. I understand how to use auto-place with static templates, but not sure if this is possible with dynamic templates? Is it possible to autoplace an initial field in the footer of every page on a dynamic template using the document editor?

Yes, Autoplace works on dynamic documents as long as a specific text or symbol appears on that document (it can be invisible by changing its colour to match the background colour of the document). Autoplace will be placed near the text/symbol that they specify in the field.

Hello ​@Ma.Cubio - Thanks for your feedback, but doesn’t quite answer my question. I’m looking to initial the bottom corner of every page… but with the dynamic document editor in DocuSign, it’s just one continuous page (no page breaks) in the document editor. Depending on the length of the dynamic field(s), the location of the page break can differ, so there’s no way for me to know where the bottom corner of every page would be.

I’m sorry that the issue is still unresolved. We highly recommend creating a support case to further check if the behaviour is unusual or bug-related.

The workaround is to submit a case without logging into your account by using the “I can’t access my account” option at the bottom of the page and providing complete details of the issue in the Case description.
