Hello,

Like many, we received a notice about DocuSign migrating to Azure.  There is a mention if inbound connections/allow-lists from DocuSign.  Currently, we do not have any inbound connection rules on our firewall relating to DocuSign.  We are uncertain as to why there would even be incoming connections.  What would these connections be for?  Are we talking about email whitelists, perhaps?

Inbound connections are primarily relevant if you're using the Docusign Connect-based Webhook, where DocuSign initiates calls to a webhook you provide 👉 Webhooks

If your organization employs outbound firewall rules, these should be adjusted. However, for inbound rules, you only need to update your allow-list to include all current Docusign IP ranges from our Trust Center by December 31, 2025, for both production and demo accounts, if you are actively using Docusign Connect.

Hello Melanie,

Thanks for getting back to us!  We don’t currently have any inbound connection rules in our firewall related to DocuSign, and we’re pretty certain that we do not use DocuSign Connect-based Webhook.  We also don’t restrict outbound web connectivity in general (other than blocking some known bad sites), so it doesn’t appear that we will need to change anything. We are awaiting verification on the Webhook thing from the department that sent us the request, but we’re fairly certain nothing will need to change.
