In DocuSign, we have three joint owners, and the document is sent to all signers at the same time to fill in mandatory text fields. If the first signer fills in their details, when the second signer opens the document to complete their part, is it possible to hide the details filled in by the first signer?

Hello @Suba123
Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! We appreciate your question and assure you that we are fully committed to providing you with the best service possible.

At this time, Docusign does not support hiding information entered by one signer from another signer when they are completing the same document. If all recipients have access to the same document, any completed fields will generally be visible to the next signer.
A possible workaround is to:

  • split the content into separate documents, and
  • use Document Visibility so each signer only sees the documents intended for them.

You can still assign fields to specific recipients so only that signer can edit their own fields, but completed values in the same document are not fully hidden from other recipients later in the signing process.
If privacy between joint owners is required, the best option is usually separate documents or envelopes for each signer.

Use Document Visibility to Control Recipient Access
