We have a signer from China who needs to sign a document requiring identity verification with an official ID. However, it appears that neither the Chinese passport nor the Chinese ID card is supported by DocuSign.

Could you please advise on the available options in this case?

Hello @neethujkp
Thank you for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community! We appreciate your question and assure you that we are fully committed to providing you with the best service possible.
DocuSign ID Verification does not support Chinese passports or national ID cards. Therefore, in a scenario where the signer only has those documents, you or your account administrator must consider alternative authentication methods or adjust the verification requirements. To proceed, you may consider:
1. Using an alternate method such as Phone Authentication (OTP).
2. Having the signer use a different supported government-issued ID (if available).
3. Adjusting or removing the ID verification requirement, if acceptable for your process.
