Hello,

2 questions:

1- Is there no new 2024 I9 template made?

2- Is there a way to combine 2 templates into one document? if i want both the i9 and w4 to be sent in one docusign, is that possible?

Hi! I am also looking for the updated 2024 I-9. When I click the link provided above I get a 404 error. The I-9 template provided in DocuSign University is still the 2023 version. Where can I find the updated 2024 template?

I appreciate it!

This doesn’t seem to answer the question. The response tells us how to add multiple documents to an envelope but the question was how to add multiple templates to an envelope. Specifically the W4 and I9 templates that are pre-built in DocuSign and allow the signer to fill in the boxes. You can send one of the forms by selecting “browse all templates” on the home screen and then selecting either the W4 or I9 but if you try to start with an empty envelope selecting and then try to add a document neither of those are available to upload from what I can see.

Hello @Doug.Steel,

I hope you’re doing well. Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community.

Have you already downloaded the templates from the template library and uploaded them to your account?

When you go to the Templates tab, click on “Use” on the selected template (ex, I-9 or W-4), select “Advanced Edit”. From here, you will have an option to use another template by clicking on “Upload”.

If you start from the Homepage > Start > Envelope > Use a Template, you can only select one template. Then, you will see the “Advanced Edit,” where you can add an additional template.

I hope this information helps. Please let us know if you need further assistance.

Thanks Jenny. I’ve downloaded the templates from the library but when I attempt to upload the JSON file it tells me that file type is not supported.

Hello @Doug.Steel,

Can you please check if you have this option? From Admin >Sending Settings>Enable Template Upload.

If you were able to enable this, log out and log back in to see if you can now upload the JSON file as a template.

Hi Jenny. It was not enabled. I enabled it, logged out and back in. The upload template option is now there, however it still says the file is invalid.
