How do you turn off the automatic populate option for a custom field?

I have created a custom field with three options, for a series of questions. However when the signee selects the first option, this option is populated against the other questions. I would like the signee to select a different option for each question.

Sounds like you created the same dropdown fields for three questions and used the same Data Label for each DocuSign dropdown field. When using the same field Data Label is acts as an auto-population or replication across these fields. Go to your Template or Envelope and make each field Data Label unique.
