how can I change my security questions ?

Hi @cmckendry !

You can change your security question by accessing Manage Profile > Privacy & Security (a new login will be required) > Password > Change Password. You’ll need to enter a new password and would be possible to select a new security question.

is this referring to security questions to get into your account? What about security questions that are asked to verify who you are in order to open up the document to sign it as a recipient?? Can Docusign change this? Is there a better way?

I have PTSD from a marriage and the questions are always about that just to verify who I am. That's disgusting to constantly have to relive that trauma and fear in order to sign a document!

Hello @Irie,

I hope you’re doing well. Thank you for reaching out to the Docusign Community. We’re sorry to hear that you are going through this.

Yes, the steps mentioned above refer to the security question used to verify a user's identity, especially when resetting a password or accessing an account. You might be referring to the Knowledge Base Authentication (KBA), wherein users were asked personal questions to access the envelope. This cannot be changed within Docusign. KBA questions are generated based on a signer's publicly available information.

If possible, try asking the sender of the envelope if they have a different authentication method that they can use for you to access the envelope.
