I was reviewing one of the templates in Docusign and I noticed an envelope ID on the top document before it was even signed, any suggestion on what happened or if there is setting that I need to turn off?
Can the API embed the envelope ID into the PDF document when preparing the envelope?
Best regards,
Emad

Hope you’re doing well @Emad Radwan. If you’re still looking to resolve this, I would suggest looking at the account’s Sending Settings. The settings for “Enable including the Envelope ID on the document” for Fields and Properties is probably dictating what options you’re seeing for inclusion of the Envelope ID. If settings are such that the sender is given more flexibility for placement, then you can Control Envelope ID Placement.
I just created a new template and made sure it is not a document that was previously signed. However, I still see the envelope ID at the top of the document.
Could you please confirm if all templates were affected? Also, does the envelope ID show up every time a template is created when using a specific document
I hope you are doing well. I want to confirm if you need further assistance. Feel free to let me know, and I will gladly help you address the situation as soon as possible.
