When I try to send an envelope to get signed, I receive an error message that says unable to create envelope. The document is already made I just need to send it for a signature.

Unfortunately I can’t help you deeper with only this information. This error can happens in many different scenarios, like missing mandatory fields, lack of user permission, account with available envelopes, etc.
Would it be possible for you to describe the error a little more, if possible with a screenshot?
In parallel, you can do a quick investigation by yourself by enabling the Logging in your user and replicating the steps. To do that, simple follow this article instructions: API Request Logging

One possible reason is that you are at the end of your account's trial period, and you may have reached the maximum limit of envelopes created (which can vary between 2 to 10 envelopes). Another reason may be that you have exceeded other limits imposed on trial accounts (such as maximum number of recipients, maximum number of documents added, etc.).
To be sure what is really happening, you need to contact the technical support team through this website, or try to obtain the logs as instructed in this article.
