Hi everyone,

I'm using a DocuSign Developer (demo/sandbox) account for API testing and have reached the envelope limit. I understand this is a common limit in sandbox environments, but I need to continue testing.

I also have a regular DocuSign account, but I'm not on any paid plan currently.

When I try to access DocuSign Support to request a reset, I'm unable to log in. It says "Unable to log in" — I believe this is because free developer accounts don’t have full support access.

I came across the DocuSign support form (https://support.docusign.com), but I’d like to confirm:
- Is this the correct way to request a reset?
- Is there a faster way to get envelopes reset for sandbox accounts?
- Do I need to be on a paid plan to request a reset, or is this still available for free developer accounts?
- I stumble upon on Docusign Support Plans, will this help on my reset envelope request, and if so how much will this cost?
- Or the reset request will be available if i purchase the API plans on Developers Docusign

Appreciate any help — thanks in advance!

Hi @hynrbf,

Welcome to the Docusign Community — we're glad you're here, and happy to share knowledge with you!

We understand your need for an envelope reset on your demo/sandbox account. You're looking to send more envelopes for testing and are wondering if a plan purchase is necessary to facilitate this reset, especially since you're unable to create a case directly.
There are limits in place for Demo accounts. These limitations are primarily in place as part of protective measures. Since this Community space focuses on general guidance, we recommend contacting our support team directly. They will be able to review your account details and determine if your request can be granted, allowing you to continue with your testing. For users with free accounts, you can reach our support team through live chat👉 How do I contact Docusign Customer Support?

Let us know if you need further assistance. Here if you need us!

Sincerely,

Melanie | Docusign Community Moderator
