Prior to very recently, when specifying signatures for a document, my signature icon would appear in one color and my client’s signature icon in another color. Now they are both the same color and that seems to “confuse” DocuSign so that when I receive my copy to sign (I’m #1 to sign) and click “Start”, I’m taken to sign for both me and my client.
A recent update changed the designated colors for the recipients. Many of us have complained about the new soft pastels being too similar. Many of us have also asked DocuSign to give users the ability to set those colors ourselves. The issue is especially troublesome for color-blind users.
Until DocuSign tackles it, there’s not much you or I can do.
There is an “idea” with the subject line “Ability to control the color scheme” which you can upvote if you think it will help.
However, your issue doesn’t sounds more like a problem with signing, not the colors (which are for the ser - supposedly to help in placing the tags).
You may want to double-check that the signing tags were placed correctly - then open a support ticket to see why the tags are not acting as they should.
good luck
