Document pdf password protection

Question

I use a mac and create a pdf not password protected.  I upload the pdf document and it is sent to my clients for signature,  When it comes back to me signed and upload the document to my real estate platform, it shows that the document is password protected and my broker can’t see it.  It is really frustrating.  I then I have to print the signed pdf received from my client and re-scan it to create a new pdf that can be open.  It is so time consuming and ineffective.  How can unlock a document that is protected protected when it comes back to me when it was created by me without a passowrd protection.

I appreciate you bringing your question to this Community.Docusign eSignature doesn’t add password protection to documents you download, and there’s no setting to configure this within Docusign.
