I have a form in excel. The date is in Uk format (DD/MM/YYYY) but when I upload it to add teh signatur field and the date signed field, the date showas as MM/DD/YYYY.

To be clear, this date is not a docusign field. It is teh date the form was filled in.

I checked the regional setting, which is sent as DD/MM/YYYY  and the date signed shows as it should (Account defalult)

Hi @Antoine D

Welcome to the Docusign Community—we're happy to support you and share what we know!

I understand how important it is for the date format to appear accurately in your forms, and I’m here to help figure out what might be causing this discrepancy.

Upon further research, the behavior is expected. Excel controls date formats through filters that our system doesn’t directly recognize. Instead, the system relies on the raw format Excel saves the data in. To verify this, you can save your Excel file as a CSV using the “Save As” option, then open the file in a text editor like Notepad to see how the dates are recorded.
For the most reliable solution, we recommend exporting your Excel form to PDF before uploading it to DocuSign. This approach allows Excel to handle the format conversion, ensuring that the PDF preserves your intended date formatting.
