Question

Creating PowerForm to get eSignatures from external users

Is it possible to create a PowerForm (accessed via either a link or QR code) that accepts eSignatures from external users?

My company works with subcontractors, and we would like them to be able to complete and eSign forms on their phones by simply scanning a QR code.  In this scenario, we would not know any of the user’s information before they went to sign the document.  I wanted to see if this was possible before upgrading our subscription.

Hello @wjohnston,

Thanks for reaching out, and welcome to the Docusign Community!

Yes, this is possible with a Docusign PowerForm. You can create a reusable PowerForm link, convert it into a QR code, and have your recipient scan it to complete and sign the form on their phones. They can provide their name and email when they begin.

You may check the following for more information:
What is a PowerForm?

Note: PowerForms are available on Business Pro and higher plans.

I hope this information helps. Let me know if you have any questions.

Best Regards,
