To see exactly if and when your recipient received or opened a document, you can check your Envelope History. This log provides a definitive resolution and precise timestamps for every single action taken on your document.

Please follow the steps below:

1. Log in to your Docusign account.
2. Click the Agreements tab at the top of the page.
3. Open the Sent or In Progress folder from the left menu and locate your document.
4. Click the three dots action menu (...) next to the document and select History.

What if the signer reported that they didn't get an email notification of the envelope?

Sometimes, a signer might not receive the envelope notification in their email. If your signer has raised this concern and you are certain that the envelope was sent accordingly, you can review common causes and quick fixes here: Why aren't my signers receiving Docusign email notifications?
