I understand that you would like to highlight or encircle words or phrases from your document during the Signing session on Docusign.

Currently, this feature is not available within Docusign. The document would have to be edited outside of DocuSign before being uploaded.

We do have Collaborative Fields, which allow selected recipients to collaborate on text, radio buttons, drop-downs, and check-box fields. Collaborative fields are perfect for situations where signers might need to negotiate changes to your document.
