Is it possible in your use case to add the sender as a recipient in the envelope?

This will be the best option if you are looking to isolate their answer to this field from the recipient’s fields. Otherwise, the sender could input the answer to the Checkbox group during the document tagging step of the envelope creation process, by double clicking the field, or, adding the answer in the Field Properties menu.
