Carvana requires both Docusign and hard copy signatures?

Question

My husband and i have processed all of the required paperwork through Docusign to sell a car to Carvana. It’s website states we both must be present when we drop the vehicle off, which will require an 8 hour drive.  My husband isn’t healthy enough for such a journey. Was this requirement posted before Carvana adopted Docusign?
